# Method:

01 - Place frozen mango chunks, pineapple chunks, sliced banana, orange juice, coconut milk, and vanilla protein powder into a high-speed blender.
02 - For a thicker, colder smoothie, add chia seeds, honey or agave syrup, and a handful of ice cubes to the blender.

04 - Divide the smoothie evenly between two glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a fresh fruit slice or a sprinkle of chia seeds if desired.

# Insider Tips:

01 -
  • It takes exactly five minutes from fridge to glass, which means zero excuses for not eating breakfast.
  • The tropical fruit combination hides the protein powder taste so well that even people who hate supplements will ask for seconds.
  • Frozen fruit does double duty as both flavor and ice, so you never end up with a watered down drink.
02 -
  • Protein powder clumps if you dump it on top of frozen fruit, so either add it with the liquids or give it a quick preliminary blend with the juice before adding everything else.
  • Fresh orange juice makes a genuinely noticeable difference, the bottled stuff has a flatness that the smoothie cannot quite overcome no matter how good your other ingredients are.
03 -
  • Freeze your sliced banana ahead of time for an even creamier result, it transforms the whole texture into something closer to a milkshake than a juice.
  • A pinch of salt sounds weird but rounds out the sweetness and makes the tropical flavors pop in a way you will notice immediately once you try it.
